Frank sold me his box of Newton stuff for $800 (Canadian). I’m re-selling it at cost, so prices are as-is. I briefly tested the actual Newtons, you can see the result below with the description. Here’s a list of items and their price, prices are in Canadian Dollars, shipping is not included, and until the tariff madness is over I can’t realistically ship to the USA:
1) MessagePad 2000 unit: Powers on with AC adapter. Minor scuffs from wear, no cover flap, no port cover, no stylus. It doesn’t seem to turn on when battery pack is inserted without AC power, I looked inside the battery bay and can see some residue from an exploded battery. Comes with Alkaline battery tray. Good backlight. Wifi card not included. $150.

2) MessagePad 2100 (Upgraded 2000) unit.
This unit has some minor scuffs from wear, missing one of the little clips from the back that hold the cover open. Includes the port door, and there is a 2100 upgrade sticker on it. The Newt powers on and functions normally on a battery sled (not included). The speaker has a slight buzz when the volume is all the way up but this is a good unit. If it doesn’t sell I might start using it. $300.

3) MessagePad 2000. This one has the flip cover, the which clicks back nicely behind the unit (not missing any little clips). It powers on fine on battery, Backlight works fine, no stylus or port cover door. No battery sled included (sorry I just have one for all three Newts!). Cosmetically a few small scuffs from usage, not too tacky except where it was stored in a bag, where the bag made contact it seems to have ruined the finish a bit. $250.

4) Newton keyboard and folio. Comes with dongle. $50.

5) Newton Folio 2. Different, I think this one is nicer. No keyboard included, though. $40.

7) Dongle in original package. $30.

8) Various papers. Will include with any sufficiently large order. I’ll even throw in the box for whoever buys the most stuff. Included with big purchase.

9) Dongle. For connecting a serial cable to a 2000, 2100 or eMate. $25.

10) Rechargeable battery pack and 9W power adapter, in OG little boxes. $25 each.

11) Newtonsales.com MessagePad 2000/2100 micro USB adapter. Allows serial connections. If you’re clever you could probably de solder the micro usb and put a USB-c, but I didn’t tell you to do it. ;-). $45.

12) Keyspan USB to serial adapter. Works with older macs. $20.

13) WaveLan bronze wifi card. Untested but probably it’s OK. You can see it in the first Newton above. $20.
That’s it! Please contact me at [email protected] and let me know if you want any of this great stuff!
