Chasing Arrows: An Avro Arrow Story

The misunderstood story of the Avro Arrow–the famous Cold War Canadian Interceptor Jet–is slowly being forgotten, but passionate Canadians are keeping the story alive. A group of volunteers in Calgary, Alberta are building their own flying replica. When finished, the Arrow II will be the fastest home-built airplane ever created.

All this takes place against the background of today’s Canada, a nation that sometimes forgets that it can do and does great things.

This is a positive story about ingenuity and innovation, and about re-living a Canadian dream.

The film features interviews with real volunteers, and with Arrow experts such as Russ Isinger, Erin Gregory, Palmiro Campagna, Yvan Blondin, and others.
